General Educational Development (GED) Certificate
HIA also offers the General Educational Development (GED) as an alternative to selected students who have successfully completed the Cambridge Checkpoint examinations in Stage 9.
The GED is internationally recognized, and assesses proficiency in four subjects: Reasoning through
- Language Arts,
- Mathematical Reasoning,
- Science,
- and Social Studies.
The GED is a SAQA recognised High School Foreign Grade 12 Equivalent, NQF Level 4 (like a SA NSC Matric without Exemption) in South Africa.
